1958 Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) Autographed Worn Wilson Gloves

1958 Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) Autographed Worn Wilson "Golden Gloves" Boxing Gloves. These glove are in excellent condition with initialed "CC" (Cassius Clay) and "CLAY" inscribed on the inner lining. These glove came from the famous Columbia Gym in Louisville, KY where young Cassius Clay first trained with police officer trainer Joe Martin.

In March of 1958, Cassius Clay (Ali) made his first appearance on the national stage at the Chicago National Golden Gloves Tournament. Clay advanced to the quarterfinals where he was eventually defeated by Kent Green. Clay followed with back to back National Golden Glove Championships in 1959 & 1960.
