Presented is a hefty, stand-alone 20" tall (includes 3" wooden base) solid bronze statue (19lbs.) of a ready-for-action Muhammad Ali. It has an engraved plate at the bottom portion with "The Greatest" and Ali's facsimile signature. An inscription on the wooden base comes from W. E. Henley's poem "Invictus": "In the fell clutch of circumstances/I have not winced or cried aloud/under the bludgeoning of chance/my head is bloody but unbowed. "

The artist Joe Olmos only cast a few because of the cost association for people like Ali for his museum and President Clinton. Olmos was the former Chief Inspector for the Southern Section of the California State Athletic Commission. He is also a member of the California Boxing Hall of Fame (inducted 2005).
