Cassius Clay vs Tunney Hunsaker Signed Program
On Saturday October 29, 1960, Cassius Clay faced off in his first professional boxing bout against West Virginia police chief Tunney Hunsaker at Freedom Hall Fairgrounds in Louisville, KY. Clay turned in a classy and confident victory over Hunsaker, winning the six round bout by unanimous decision. This program from Clay's first professional boxing bout is signed by both Muhammad Ali (Clay) and Tunney Hunsaker. First discovered by famous Clay/Ali collector Pete Morkovin, only 10 programs from Clay's first fight are known to still exist and only 2 copies are known to be signed (both owned by Gary) makes this signed program one of the rarest Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali items in existence.
